Fifi Rong will release a new single titled ‘The One’ on Friday 13 October.

As the final instalment in her trilogy of singles that featured ‘Future Never Comes’ and ‘The Same Road’, the London-based singer will drop her newest single ‘The One’ on Friday.

Departing from her 80s soundscapes, ‘The One’ explores reggae and dub influences.

“Whereas a lot of my songs/productions represent only a part of me, this track sums up my creative evolution really nicely,” Rong says of her new single. “It combines my very early influences in sounds and the most recent progress in my song writing.”

“It’s something I’m proud to present as a true reflection of where I am musically. Whilst the soundscape of this production is dark and quirky, I’m definitely having fun with it all, finding peace in seemingly bad situations and enjoying life as it comes.”

The track was mixed by Isabel Gracefield who has previously worked with Sam Smith, The XX, Benjamin Clementine and Emeli Sande among others.

‘The One” is out on 13 October 2017 and will be available across all major online stores and streaming platforms.

Rong will also hold a launch show for the single on Thursday 19 October. For tickets, click here.
