London’s China Exchange will host an evening of baijiu tasting to welcome in the new year.

Gin is so 2016!

Celebrate Chinese New Year early! From 18:30 to 20:00 on 25 January 2017, head down to China Exchange to try a selection of the world’s most consumed alcohol. From the history of the ancient drink to its methods of production, China Exchange’s Hello Baijiu event promises to arm you with expert knowledge as well as the desire to stock your drinks cabinet with the Chinese delicacy.

The team behind Europe’s first dedicated baijiu bar, FU, will offer an unrivaled selection of baijiu. Providing 6 varieties of baijiu, ranging from old school classics to more contemporary creations, the Liverpool Chinatown bar will convert traditional cocktail enthusiasts into baijiu lovers.

By serving baijiu with a western twist, Elliot Robinson, Harriet Robinson and Peter Smith have expertly crafted unique baijiu cocktails that will transform the Chinese rice wine spirit into London’s next drinking trend.

So head down to China Exchange, raise your baijiu cocktails and toast the Chinese New Year… but be sure not to ganbei your drink too quickly!
