BIGBANG has made it onto Forbes ’30 Under 30′ 2017

Kpop boy band BIGBANG made $44 Million last year, earning them a spot on Forbes ’30 Under 30′ for 2017.

The ‘fxxk it’ South Korean singers comprise of Kwon Ji-yong (G-Dragon), 28, Kang Dae-sung (Daesung), 27, Choi Seung –hyun (T.O.P), 29, Lee Seung –hyun (Seungri), 26 and Dong Young-bae (Taeyang), 28. The band were the only Kpop act to make the Forbes list of the world’s 30 most popular musicians under the age of 30 this year.

The rankings were compiled by an all-star panel of judges including Jason Derulo, Halsey and Anthony Saleh.

Forbes state that Korea’s top boy band made $44 million last year after playing arenas around the world during their comeback tour. Last year, BIGBANG were the first Korean act ever to feature in Forbes highest paid celebrities, overtaking the likes of Maroon 5.

“We made more than Maroon 5?” frontman G-Dragon said through a translator, “did not know that. My mom is in charge of my earnings.”

Forbes reported that The Backstreet Boys and One Direction were the only boy bands to earn more in a single year.

In December 2016, BIGBANG released their third Korean studio album, MADE.
