Park Min-young and Yook Sung-jae are set to star in Nine to Six, a new Korean office romance coming to Prime Video next month. The 12-episode series will premiere on Nov. 25 in more than 240 countries and territories.

Park plays Kang Yi-ji, a senior manager in the legal team at automotive company Chronic Motors. Known for her logic, discipline and ambition, Yi-ji has built a successful career in a male dominated workplace, but sees love and marriage as little more than a passing chemical impulse.

That worldview is challenged by two men. Yook, of K-pop group BtoB, plays Han Sun-woo, a legal intern who dreams of designing jewellery and follows his instincts rather than the rulebook. When Yi-ji finds herself in danger, he protects her without hesitation, forcing her to see him in a new way.

Go Soo rounds out the central trio as Park Hyun-tae, an executive director returning to Chronic Motors’ Seoul office after a rapid rise through the company’s European headquarters. A firm believer that romance only complicates life, Hyun-tae finds his assumptions tested by Yi-ji’s talent and determination.

The series positions Yi-ji at the centre of a contrast between Sun-woo’s openness and Hyun-tae’s understanding of her professional ambitions, as she weighs whether she can let someone in without compromising the career she has worked hard to build.

Nine to Six is written by Choi Ji-oh and directed by Lee Hyung-min, whose credits include Strong Girl Bong-soon, Miss Night and Day and I’m Sorry, I Love You, alongside Oh Song-hee of The Escape of the Seven.

The drama joins Prime Video’s growing slate of Korean romance titles, including Love in Disguise, A Love Other Than Yours, See You at Work Tomorrow!, Spring Fever, Surely Tomorrow, Head Over Heels and Good Boy.
