The pop-culture podcast Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang will begin streaming on Disney+ and Hulu on November 18, with new video episodes released weekly. The show will remain available on YouTube and podcast platforms.
Hosted by Saturday Night Live star Bowen Yang and comedian Matt Rogers, Las Culturistas has built a devoted following since launching in 2016 with its mix of pop-culture commentary, celebrity interviews and recurring segments such as “I Don’t Think So, Honey.” It is produced by Will Ferrell’s Big Money Players Podcast Network and iHeartRadio.

The move marks one of Disney’s highest-profile podcast acquisitions as streamers increasingly compete for video-first audio programming. Las Culturistas joins iHeartPodcasts titles already on Disney+ and Hulu following Disney’s August 2026 agreement with iHeart, including Hey Jonas!, Pod Meets World, Fake Doctors, Real Friends, StraightioLab and Thanks Dad with Ego Nwodim.
Disney+ and Hulu began adding podcasts from outside their own programming earlier this year through a licensing deal with Headgum, whose We’re Here to Help was the first title to arrive. The strategy positions the streamers to capture audiences accustomed to watching podcasts on YouTube.
For Yang and Rogers, the deal extends a decade-old podcast into Disney’s global streaming ecosystem without ending its existing distribution. iHeartMedia said listeners can continue to find the show on the iHeartRadio app and wherever podcasts are available.
The podcast has previously expanded beyond audio through The Las Culturistas Culture Awards, its televised parody awards show, and has hosted guests including Mariah Carey, Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan and Nicole Kidman.
For Resonate’s entertainment and digital-media audience, the story is less about one podcast changing homes and more about streaming platforms treating video podcasts as core programming — and about creators such as Yang and Rogers turning cult audio followings into mainstream screen distribution.
