Li Jun Li is stepping into the spotlight on Prime Video’s Spider-Noir soundtrack, which will feature both a cover of ‘Dream a Little Dream of Me’ and an original song, ‘The Devil You Know.’ The soundtrack will also include new score music by composers Kris Bowers and Michael Dean Parsons, further shaping the show’s smoky, noir-tinged atmosphere.
The soundtrack is set for digital release on May 27, the same day the series premieres, while Milan Records will release a 2-LP vinyl edition on Aug. 28. Prime Video has already teased Li’s performance through a standalone clip of ‘Dream a Little Dream of Me,’ signalling that her musical contributions are being positioned as a key part of the show’s identity.

Li plays Cat Hardy, a nightclub singer who becomes entangled in the story’s underworld intrigue. In Spider-Noir, she appears alongside Nicolas Cage, who leads the series as an older, hard-bitten version of Spider-Man’s masked alter ego, navigating Depression-era New York as a private investigator and former superhero.
Based on Marvel Comics’ Spider-Man Noir character, the live-action series reimagines the web-slinger in 1930s New York, where crime, corruption and superpowered threats collide in a shadowy alternate timeline. Cage’s character is forced to confront both his past and a city in crisis, blending detective-story grit with superhero mythology.
Bowers and Dean Parsons said the score was designed to balance classic noir mood with superhero scale, using melody as a narrative tool rather than just background texture. The soundtrack’s sonic palette reportedly includes orchestra, theremin, electric guitar, percussion made from New York street sounds, a broken piano and even a penny whistle, suggesting a score that leans hard into period detail while still feeling experimental.

Cat Hardy is not just a character in the plot, but part of the world-building — a sultry nightclub presence whose songs help sell the show’s mix of jazz-age glamour, danger and mystery.
