The first season of Netflix’s Beef was a chaotic ride, with Steven Yeun and Ali Wong’s characters spiralling into a destructive feud after a minor road rage incident. Now, the show is gearing up for a second season, and the cast is absolutely stacked.

We already knew that Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, Cailee Spaeny, and Youn Yuh-jung would be joining the fray. And now, according to Deadline, the legendary Song Kang-ho, star of Parasite, is also on board.

While his specific role is being kept under wraps for now, Season 2 will focus on a young couple who witness a “fight between their boss and his wife, triggering chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner.”

This sounds like a recipe for even more intense, high-stakes drama, and the addition of Song Kang-ho to the cast is a major coup. Known for his powerful performances in films like Parasite and Broker, he’s sure to bring a unique and compelling presence to the show.

With such a talented ensemble and a promising premise, Beef Season 2 is shaping up to be one to watch. We’ll keep you updated on its release date as soon as we know more.
