‘The Daily Show’ correspondent Ronny Chieng’s Netflix standup special debuts next month

The Wrap reports that The Daily Show correspondent Ronny Chieng‘s Netflix standup special will debut next month.

Titled Asian Comedian Destroys America!, the Malaysian comedian will explore his journey to America.

“From evaluating the effects of consumerism to theorizing how efficient the U.S. would be with an Asian-American President, Chieng shares what he thinks really makes America great,” states Netflix’s description.

Chieng is also known for playing Eddie Cheng in 2018’s Crazy Rich Asians.

Earlier this year the comedian appeared on The Jimmy Fallon Show explaining why why America needs an Asian president.

“Crazy Rich Asians” actor and “The Daily Show”  Ronny Chieng has set his first-ever Netflix standup comedy special to debut next month, titled “Asian Comedian Destroys America!”

Ronny Chieng: Asian Comedian Destroys America! launches on Netflix on 17 December 2019.
