Crazy Rich Asians star Gemma Chan concealed snacks in her Oscars dress.

On what is recognised as one of the most glamorous evenings in Hollywood, Chan certainly dressed accordingly. Wearing a high-neck fuchsia taffeta gown from Valentino’s latest Couture collection, Chan looked nothing short of spectacular.

When asked about her outfit, Chan revealed that she actually hid snacks in her stunning dress.

“I have some cookies,” she said, pulling out the packet from her pocket. “It’s a long ceremony so you know… I had some rice crackers in the other one!”

“You don’t get dinner!” The British Chinese actress added.

When asked about her Oscars experience, Chan replied, “I had such a great time, I thought all the presenters did a good job and the winners were really varied.”

“I’m so happy that Spike Lee won!” She said.

Chan will be hitting the big screen on 8 March in Captain Marvel, in which she stars as antagonist Minn-Evra.

In related news, Pixar film Bao won an Oscar for Best Animated Short.
