BTS members will be featured on the international cover of TIME Magazine.

TIME Magazine has revealed that Kpop stars BTS will be featured on the international cover of their magazine.

Speaking to TIME, member J-Hope said BTS’s special quality is their team. “Something unique about our team is that we recognize the value of the team,” he said. “bThis has an influence on our promotions as well.”

BTS leader RM added that the group love Korea and are proud to represent their country. “As a Korean we love our country and we’re proud of our country so much,” RM said. “And it’s even just an honor to be called an ambassador of Korean K-pop.”

Suga discussed how their parents’ generation saw the transformation of the country after the Korean War. “Many people in our parents’ generation were born after the Korean War,” said Suga. “When they were younger, they weren’t able to eat or dress well, so the fact that in our generation, we — our father’s sons — are representing Korea and spreading Korean culture, the older generation, rather than the younger generation, feels more proud about that.”

“They also enjoy it while watching the news. My father gets very pleased feeling proud about things like that.”

In related news, BTS recently became the first ever Kpop group to address the United Nations.
