A first-look teaser has dropped for the upcoming Street Fighter live-action film, giving fans a glimpse of Chun-Li, Ken, Ryu and more iconic characters from Capcom’s legendary franchise.
The trailer premiered during the 2025 Game Awards, where the film’s star-studded cast appeared on stage to introduce the debut footage — a nostalgic throwback packed with high-impact action and unmistakable ‘90s energy.
Set in 1993, the new adaptation follows a fresh storyline grounded in the series’ classic rivalries. According to the official synopsis: “Estranged Street Fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) are thrown back into combat when the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament: a brutal clash of fists, fate, and fury.”

Directed by Kitao Sakurai and written by Dalan Musson, Street Fighter is co-produced by Legendary in partnership with Capcom, with Paramount Pictures handling distribution.
