Amazon Prime’s Invincible is back with a vengeance, adding a slew of acclaimed actors to its already impressive voice cast for its highly anticipated third season. Among the newcomers are Simu Liu, known for his leading role in Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and veteran actor Tzi Ma, who recently starred in the TV series Interior Chinatown.

Liu takes on the role of Multi-Paul, “an elite assassin for Mr. Liu’s secret criminal organization,” who also happens to be the twin brother of the established character, Dupli-Kate. This dynamic promises a fascinating exploration of family ties and conflicting loyalties within the show’s complex world.

Ma steps into the shoes of the enigmatic Mr. Liu, described as “the ruthless leader of ‘The Order’ – an international crime syndicate.”  However, the character description hints at further layers of intrigue, suggesting that “that’s not all this mysterious old man is hiding.”

With these two powerhouse talents joining the fray, Invincible season 3 is shaping up to be an even more thrilling and unpredictable ride for fans. The wider cast includes Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, J.K. Simmons, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas Aaron Paul, Jonathan Banks, Kate Mara, Xolo Maridueña, John DiMaggio, Doug Bradley, and Christian Convery.

Based on the Skybound/Image comic by The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman, co-creator Cory Walker, and contributing creator Ryan Ottley, Invincible tells the story of 17-year-old Mark Grayson (voiced by Steven Yeun). As Mark inherits his father’s superpowers, he sets out to become Earth’s ultimate protector. But the journey is far from straightforward—Mark must confront his past, grapple with the weight of his future, and push himself to unimaginable limits to protect the people he loves.

The new season premieres on Prime Video on February 6th, 2025.
