Brian Tee, known for his roles in Chicago Med, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and the recent Prime Video series Expats, will join the cast of Amazon’s action series Reacher in its third season.

Tee is set to portray Quinn, a physically imposing former Lieutenant Colonel with a dark past that intersects with the show’s protagonist, Jack Reacher (played by Alan Ritchson).

According to the show’s producers, Quinn was investigated by Reacher a decade ago for a serious crime – selling classified military secrets to hostile nations.

Season 3 of Reacher will be based on Lee Child’s popular novel Persuader, which follows Reacher as he goes undercover on a perilous mission to rescue an informant who is being held captive by a dangerous figure from his past.

Reacher Season 2 debuted as the top title worldwide in terms of viewership across both series and movies during its premiere weekend in 2023. The show experienced a significant increase in its global audience, growing by 50% between seasons within the first three days after the second season’s release on December 15, 2023.
