A video showing 2020 presidential candidate Andrew Yang crowdsurfing has gone viral.

KTLA reports that the 44-year-old Asian American was speaking at the Asian American and Pacific Islander Democratic Presidential Forum when the incident occurred.

Held by the AAPI Victory Fund, the forum discussed mobilizing voters among the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities.

Yang also promoted his slogan: MATH – Make America Think Harder. “The opposite of Donald Trump is an Asian man who likes math,” Yang has joked.

He then reportedly said “One of my goals for this campaign was to crowd surf. I think this may be the time,” before leaping into the crowd.

A video of Yang crowdsurfing was shared on his Twitter account, generating over 33,000 likes in one day and 1.2 million views.

One commenter wrote, “he trusts us with his life,” whilst another said “now this is what I call a Blue Wave.”

In related news, far-right radio host Jesse Lee Peterson recently said that Yang should “go back to China.”
