An angry South Korean fan flew from Seoul to Sweden to ask Cristiano Ronaldo why he did not play in Korea.

Juventus F.C. were in Seoul to play against the K League All Stars but the Portuguese star reportedly refused to play. Ronaldo also failed to show up for attend the fan meeting, which he was contractually obliged to do.

His decision to stay on the bench cost the club US$675,000 of their US$3 million match fee as Juventus had promised their record signing would play for at least 45 minutes.

Kwak Ji-hyuk, a YouTuber and Ronaldo fan, was furious about the incident and travelled all the way to Sweden to confront him about his no-show.

The Italian side were in Stockholm to play in International Champions Cup final against Atletico Madrid.

Filming his experience, Kwak is seen entering the lobby of the hotel in which the team were staying. He is then heard shouting in English, “why didn’t you play in Korea?” at Ronaldo but is sadly ignored.

Kwak also held up a sign written in Portuguese. “Even when I put the sign right in front of his eyes, I was utterly ignored,” Kwak says in the video. “You are so nice to your fans here but why did you do that to us?”

The Korean’s 11-minute video has garnered over 3.5 million views.
