Netflix thriller Secret Obsession starring Brenda Song is now available

Secret Obsession starring Brenda Song is now streaming on Netflix (18 July in Asia, 19 July in USA).

Song (Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Dollface) stars as newlywed Jennifer who is brutally attacked at a rest stop. After loosing her memory, her husband Russel (Mike Vogel) takes her home to rebuild her life.

However, as Detective Page (Dennis Haysbert) soon unravels that Russel is not quite who he claims to be.

“The same fate now awaits Jennifer, unless someone realises that her loving caretaker is actually her captor,” Netflix’s synopsis reads.

Talking to Refinery 29, Song said the audience will find themselves deeply immersed in Jennifer’s story, realising what’s happening before the character does.

“The audience actually finds out the twist before my character does. I think the thrilling part of the movie is trying to help Jennifer catch up,” she said. “I think people (myself included) just love scaring themselves.”

“Obviously having a stalker is no joking matter, but stalker movies are just so fascinating and terrifying,” she added.
