Jon M Chu, John Cho and Sandra Oh will be honored at Kore Asian Media’s 2018 Unforgettable Gala.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, this year’s Unforgettable Gala will honor Crazy Rich Asians director Jon M ChuSearching actor John Cho and Killing Eve star Sandra Oh.

Hosted by Kore Asian Media, the 17th annual Unforgettable Gala marks the longest-running awards show for Asian Americans in entertainment.

For 2018, the show has created gender-neutral categories for its honorees.

Oh, who became the first Asian woman to be nominated for a Lead Actress Emmy, will be honored with the Actor in Television award for her role in Killing Eve.

Cho will be recognized in the Film category for Searching and Jon M Chu will receive Director Honors for Crazy Rich Asians.

The cast of Crazy Rich Asians will be recognized in a category of its own with the Vanguard award.

“This annual gathering is a chance for our community to celebrate the success and progress we’ve made this year — in TV, film, culture, sports and beyond,” Kore Asian Media publisher James Ryu said Monday in a statement.

“We are thrilled to recognize the honorees and all the hard work they’ve done to pave the way for generations to come.”
