Sandra Oh’s mother is winning the hearts of people on the internet after wearing a hanbok to the Emmys.

Killing Eve star Sandra Oh brought her parents to the Emmys and the internet is loving it.

Oh might have broken a record for being the first Asian woman to be nominated for an Emmy in the lead actress category (for her role as Eve Polastri in Killing Eve), but her mother was the one who stole the show.

Both her parents attended the prestigious event and accompanied their daughter on the red carpet.

When Variety approached the Canadian Korean actress, Oh was quick to introduce her parents.

Oh’s mother, who was dressed in a traditional Korean hanbok was asked how proud she was of her daughter. She replied, “oh, very much. I’m so proud of her.” She then reached over and kissed her.

A slightly embarrassed Oh gasped, “oh my god, that happened on film!”

The sweet moment has touched the internet.

“This is HUGE coming from a , and is practically like winning an ! Way to go @IamSandraOh! ,” wrote one Twitter user.

“sandra oh is living every asian american child’s dream right now my heart,” tweeted another.

Those whose parents are immigrants felt the moment resonate with them. “you know what i love? that sandra oh introduced her parents to the red carpet reporter with, “this is my mom, mrs oh…” my child-of-immigrants heart FELT that,” wrote another Twitter user.

Others were proud of Oh’s mother’s choice of outfit. “Sandra Oh’s mom wore a hanbok to the Emmys! There is a hanbok at the Emmys! Forget K-pop, THIS is the sign that Koreans have arrived,” one person tweeted.
