The first images of Gemma Chan and Brie Larson in the upcoming Captain Marvel film have been released.

As reported by Comic Book, the first images of Gemma Chan and Brie Larson in Captain Marvel have surfaced online.

Released by EW, the pictures provide a glimpse of Captain Marvel‘s Starforce, which is described as Kree’s SEAL Team Six.

Chan plays Minn-Evra and Larson plays Carol Danvers. Dressed in the same attire as the rest of Starfore, Minn-Evra is an alien with blue skin. She is known as the enemy of rogue Kree agent Captain Mar-Vell.

Amidst a galactic war between earth an alien races, Captain Marvel follows Danvars, who is one of the universe’s most powerful superheroes.

Captain Marvel also stars Samuel L Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Kenneth Mitchell, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

The film will be released on 8 March 2019 with the fourth avengers film following it on 3 May 2019. The Spider-Man: Far From Home sequel will then be released on 5 July 2019.

Chan is currently on the big screen in Crazy Rich Asians.
