A West Ham fan has filmed himself racially abusing Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min.

In the clip, the West Ham support is heard shouting from his car asking the South Korean footballer if he sold DVDs.

“Can you get us a copy of the new Planet Of The Apes film?” the man says. “DVDs, you do DVDs? Good copies?”

When Son replied, “no”, the fan said, “yeh, I’m West Ham you wanker,” and then drove off.

West Ham has since “unreservedly condemned” the man in the clip, releasing a statement saying they have a “zero-tolerance approach to any form of discrimination”.

Tottenham Hotspur also said in a statement, “racist behaviour is completely unacceptable and we hope that the individual is identified to the authorities and the necessary action taken.”

The incident comes a week after Colombian star Edwin Cardona apologised for his racist gesture during a match against South Korea.

Earlier this year, Son was subjected to chants of “DVD” and “he’s selling three for a fiver” at a match against Millwall, where Spurs won 6-0.
