The former Hawaii Five-0 star's production company 3AD has signed a two year deal.

Daniel Dae Kim and his production company 3AD have signed a two-year first look deal with ITV Studios America.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Kim and his company will develop scripted TV projects for ITV Studios America.

“ITV Studios America has been making exciting strides in scripted content, and I’m thrilled for 3AD to be partnering with Philippe, Mike and the entire team,” said Kim.

“We’re already hard at work developing projects together and look forward to many successful collaborations in the days to come.”

Kim was a producer on The Good Doctor, which is based on a South Korean series of the same name.

“We are thrilled to join forces with a multihyphenate talent like Daniel Dae Kim,” said ITV Studios America president Philippe Maigret.

“Daniel’s eye for diverse, compelling stories and captivating execution of every project he produces make him, and the entire team at 3AD, a fantastic addition to our scripted television business as we continue to expand our development roster.”

Recently, Kim was cast to replace Ed Skrein as Major Ben Daimo in the upcoming Hellboy praise Skrein for his decision remake after Skrein left the production due to whitewashing concerns. Kim went on to.

Kim also made headlines earlier this year for leaving Hawaii Five-0 because he was not able “to agree to terms on a new contract” with CBS.
