Korean actor Lee Byung Hun from GI Joe signs with American United Talent Agency

South Korean actor Lee Byung Hun has signed with American talent agency UTA (United Talent Agency).

As reported by Soompi, Lee Byung Hun’s agency BH entertainment made the announcement on 24 March.

Lee Byung Hun is best known in the west for portraying Storm Shadow in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009) and its sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013). Lee also starred alongside Bruce Willis in Red 2 (2013) and portrayed T-1000 in Terminator Genisys (2015). Most recently he played Billy Rocks in Antoine Fuqua’s The Magnificent Seven (2016).

The Korean actor joins a number of influential actors under UTA including Angelina Jolie, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Pratt, Tilda Swinton, and Channing Tatum.

Lee is currently filming for Namhansanseong Fortress.
