YG Entertainment rapper One will be releasing a solo debut album.

According to AllKPop, the former 1PUNCH member is making his solo debut under his current label YG Entertainment.

An insider revealed that a date has not been set yet. “The exact time period of his album release has not been confirmed yet. They’re focusing on increasing perfection instead of rushing it for a certain date.” The insider added that the Kpop singer is aiming for the end of 2017. “However, he plans to release the solo album sometime in the second half of this year.”

One rose to popularity after showcasing his good looks and rapping skills on Korean television show Show Me The Money 4 in 2015. The rapper then proceeded to join YG Entertainment and starred in the next season of the hit show, Show Me The Money 5.

1PUNCH that featured One and Kpop singer PUNCH disbanded in 2015 after only a few months together.
