Disney has released a Chinese trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story that shows more footage of Chinese stars Donnie Yen and Jiang Wen.

In the footage, Wen’s assassin character Baze Malbus can be seen in a bombing mission.

The Star Wars spinoff will be released in China on 6 January 2017, in line with the Chinese release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens on 9 January 2016.

Rogue One will hit western countries as early as next week release dates ranging from 14-16 December.

The film is directed by Garth Edwards and chronologically takes place before George Lucas’ original 1977 Star Wars: A New Hope.

At the end of the last month, Donnie Yen was honoured by having his hand and feet imprinted into the cement at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, LA.
